Many things has been change because of the COVID-19 pandemic that also causes the whole world to shut down. Last school year, schools here in the Philippines did not open and learning happened through online classes and distance learning. As a student, since it’s my first experience to do learning alone in a whole school year, I feel so exhausted and stressed during those times. There are times that I feel like I can’t continue studying anymore, that I can’t finish all my works in time and many more thoughts that made my energy down in the whole school year. I feel bad for myself because I did not adapt all the things that I need to learn that year because of the pressure I felt.
The new normal of learning is really hard for us students because not all of us can access internet or sometimes we have slow connection, and also lack of gadgets to use especially to those students who are experiencing extreme poverty during this pandemic. Because of these reasons, many students did not get the opportunity to enroll, many of them stopped attending classes for a while and waiting for schools to open so that they can continue attending classes. Education is not only for privilege people, it’s a right that all people should have. Now, online classes and distance learning is still on going in our country while the whole world already open all of their schools.

Hiiyiiieee Dave, Good Day.
ReplyDeleteAs a student, I feel what you feel. I like how you use this blog to open up the problems encountered by many of learners. I do also hope that by next year, schools will be re-open.
Other than that, you constructed this blog so well. Keep it up and GBY:>
We have the same thoughts! I commend you for being brave enough to express what you feel about online classes online. "Education is not only for privilege people, it’s a right that all people should have" I love this phrase from you!
