“A letter for the President of the Philippines”

Dear Mr. President,

Good day Mr, President, how are you doing? It’s hard to lead a country isn’t it? I know that being a president and leading a whole country is such a big responsibility. When making a decision, you need to think smartly for the betterment of your people. I can say Mr. President that your Build, Build, Build(BBB) program is such a big help for our country. Making and building more roads, bridges and railways to make the Philippines more connected. Rehabilitations and constructions of airports for a larger number of tourist accommodations and building more classrooms and hospitals for the nation.

Mr. President there is no person that is so called perfect, we all make mistakes. But when you are a leader of a nation where the sake and safety of your people is in your works and decisions, I think you need to be more careful about it sir. You are a President and the whole nation watching you when you give your words and speeches, I think it is not appropriate to bad mouth or say vulgar words in front of them. And I also think this issue is one of the reasons why a lot of people disrespect you sir. So many issues that is not yet resolved like the issue about West Philippine Sea, War on Drugs and slow resolution for Covid19 pandemic. Maybe you are doing your best right now sir to solve all the problems in our country, but I think Filipinos deserves more and a better leadership. Listen to your people, listen to Filipinos, try to think and learn their complaints, and with that you can find possible solutions to their problems or the problem of our country.

I know that Filipinos has different opinion about you right now. I’m not hating you Mr. President, we are not hating you, maybe some but not all. I acknowledge all the good things you did for our country especially the Build, Build, Build Program. We are stating those opinions because we Filipinos deserves the best and so much better. Filipinos deserve a leader who love, protect and prioritize first the Philippines. Someone said that a good leader should always practice the three R’s: Respect for self, Respect for others, Responsibility for all their actions. Again, have a good day Mr. President.

Yours truly,

Justine Dave Armandico

"a moment to remember"

And now, our grade 10 journey is going to end in a few days, which means, junior high school life comes to an end too. It's been a wonderful moment, our beloved junior high school life. Learning, discoveries, improvements, and maturity throughout this phase of life. During the 4th quarter, we were able to have a chance to experience face to face learning again after 2 years of having distance learning. We were able to get that special experience and a wonderful moment for a short time. I was able to enjoy and appreciate the courage, strength and guidance of our teachers during this last quarter. The laughs, stories and short memories we made during this short time moment will truly and forever be with us. We were able to perform and make our own Frontpage during the 4th quarter in ICT with the guidance of our teacher, I was able to enjoy doing it, though we shared many laughs and smiles when we are creating our own front pages. This is it, the last quarter in 10th grade, the last c...

“To Learn: Overcome and Try"

3 rd quarter is coming to end, time really moves so fast. One more quarter to finish and my Grade 10 journey will going to end already. Another learning experiences, challenges and discoveries.   The feeling that I have felt during the 3 rd quarter is just incomparable from the other quarter’s that had passed. I felt so pressured because there are too many task and works to do, there are times that the given task is not what I am good at doing. I’m so down reading the number of task given in every subjects, I’m so pressured, but I pushed myself despite the pressure and stress I am feeling. I conquer my pressure, I tried my best in doing every task given even though some of them are not what I am good at. I can still say that I did well during 3 rd quarter, despite the problems and emotional days that I had experienced.               Life is all about learning, and for you to learn more, you need to over...

"Doing Better, Improving"

Second quarter is already coming to end, the time moves so fast. It feels like first quarter just ended last week. Its been a full of learnings and new discoveries. I became too relaxed last first quarter to the point that I almost got failed grades. But I used it as a motivation to do better and to improve myself. And I think I've done much better during this quarter and I'm so proud of myself for that.    I did encounter the same problems from last quarter. There are times that I don’t understand some parts of the concept notes and some instructions given by our teachers. There are also times when I feel exhausted while reading the concept notes and doing my school works. But I overcome these challenges through asking teachers and classmates about something that is not clear to me, by having time management and taking a rest when I feel exhausted.    Moving on, I will continue doing my best with my academics. Its tiring and hard but I know its part of ...
