"New Chapter: Realizations and Changes"

New year, new me. I always encounter good and bad experiences every year but with those experiences, I'm learning something. Something that can make me a more better person, good and ideal man to everyone. There is no perfect person in this world, mistakes always happen, but that doesn't mean we will let ourselves keep on making mistakes but not learning anything from it. Through out the year 2021, I had encounter my ups and downs, my happy and sad moments, my tough and hard moments but thanks to this moments, I am now becoming stronger and better person.

New year is coming, it means new chapter of our life, new life experiences and encounters will come. Realization of things that happened this year will make us ready for next year's challenges. We all do fast flashbacks on what are the things we did this year, and what should we do to change or maintain those thing for next year. And by that, we will know our strengths, weaknesses and our changes through out the year.

Life is all about trying things that is new to you and if you made a mistake, try to think what lesson will you learn from it and try to move on from those mistake to make yourself a more stronger, better and reliable person. You can't move on in life if you keep making mistakes but you are not learning anything from it. Learn for you to become a better version of yourself. Life is all about learning. After all, a learned person in different aspects will always be the one with comfortable living in this world. Learn to Grow.

"The Battle of Bataan: The Bataan Death March"

The Battle of Bataan happened during the World War II, began on January 6, 1942 and ended on April 9, 1942 as the Bataan troops surrendered. After the Filipino and American Bataan troops surrendered to the Japanese troops, the Bataan Death March happened.   Most of the prisoners(Bataan troops) began the long walk in Mariveles, at the tip of Bataan, and had to march the full 66 miles to the rail head; others joined along the way. The Japanese brutalized their captives during the march north to the trains that would take them to a prison camp. They beat them incessantly, sometimes to move them along, sometimes just for sport. Many of the prisoners were battle worn and incapable of keeping up the grueling pace of the march, especially in the tropical heat and with little water. Those who dropped from exhaustion or sickness, fell behind, broke ranks to fetch water, or tried to escape were bayoneted, shot, or ...

"a moment to remember"

And now, our grade 10 journey is going to end in a few days, which means, junior high school life comes to an end too. It's been a wonderful moment, our beloved junior high school life. Learning, discoveries, improvements, and maturity throughout this phase of life. During the 4th quarter, we were able to have a chance to experience face to face learning again after 2 years of having distance learning. We were able to get that special experience and a wonderful moment for a short time. I was able to enjoy and appreciate the courage, strength and guidance of our teachers during this last quarter. The laughs, stories and short memories we made during this short time moment will truly and forever be with us. We were able to perform and make our own Frontpage during the 4th quarter in ICT with the guidance of our teacher, I was able to enjoy doing it, though we shared many laughs and smiles when we are creating our own front pages. This is it, the last quarter in 10th grade, the last c...

“The Right Type of Resilience”

We Filipinos are known because of our resiliency. Resilience means the capacity to recover quickly from problems or difficulties. The Philippines is very vulnerable to disasters, it is one of the natural hazard-prone countries in the world. The country is highly prone to natural disasters like earthquakes, tropical cyclones, floods, and volcanic eruptions. Destructions of agricultural products, houses, and government properties always happen after a disaster. But Filipinos will try to overcome this suffering and traumatic disaster experience, showing their resiliency.      In an article written by Pamela, she stated that “Every time, the Filipino nation has to endure, brave the chaos, and stand up the next day. It is from this that we’ve grown to be called a resilient nation. Because we have had to become one.” Being resilient is not a bad thing, but we tend to forget that we’re supposed to be striving for something more. What we need to do af...
