"Doing Better, Improving"

Second quarter is already coming to end, the time moves so fast. It feels like first quarter just ended last week. Its been a full of learnings and new discoveries. I became too relaxed last first quarter to the point that I almost got failed grades. But I used it as a motivation to do better and to improve myself. And I think I've done much better during this quarter and I'm so proud of myself for that.

I did encounter the same problems from last quarter. There are times that I don’t understand some parts of the concept notes and some instructions given by our teachers. There are also times when I feel exhausted while reading the concept notes and doing my school works. But I overcome these challenges through asking teachers and classmates about something that is not clear to me, by having time management and taking a rest when I feel exhausted.

Moving on, I will continue doing my best with my academics. Its tiring and hard but I know its part of the process to reach success so I'll keep going and always do my best. Another rollercoaster ride has done. Hoping for a better result this second quarter!

  1. Good day Dave,

I also like to think that I'm getting better as a result of all the challenges that have helped me grow. And I agree with you that challenges are a necessary part of the process of achieving success. So, for myself and for you, I hope that we will not give up given the struggles that life throws at us. Congratulations on completing the second quarter. May God bless each and every one of us. Best of luck with your journey with the third quarter.

“The Right Type of Resilience”

We Filipinos are known because of our resiliency. Resilience means the capacity to recover quickly from problems or difficulties. The Philippines is very vulnerable to disasters, it is one of the natural hazard-prone countries in the world. The country is highly prone to natural disasters like earthquakes, tropical cyclones, floods, and volcanic eruptions. Destructions of agricultural products, houses, and government properties always happen after a disaster. But Filipinos will try to overcome this suffering and traumatic disaster experience, showing their resiliency.      In an article written by Pamela, she stated that “Every time, the Filipino nation has to endure, brave the chaos, and stand up the next day. It is from this that we’ve grown to be called a resilient nation. Because we have had to become one.” Being resilient is not a bad thing, but we tend to forget that we’re supposed to be striving for something more. What we need to do af...

“To Learn: Overcome and Try"

3 rd quarter is coming to end, time really moves so fast. One more quarter to finish and my Grade 10 journey will going to end already. Another learning experiences, challenges and discoveries.   The feeling that I have felt during the 3 rd quarter is just incomparable from the other quarter’s that had passed. I felt so pressured because there are too many task and works to do, there are times that the given task is not what I am good at doing. I’m so down reading the number of task given in every subjects, I’m so pressured, but I pushed myself despite the pressure and stress I am feeling. I conquer my pressure, I tried my best in doing every task given even though some of them are not what I am good at. I can still say that I did well during 3 rd quarter, despite the problems and emotional days that I had experienced.               Life is all about learning, and for you to learn more, you need to over...
