The celebration of Vigan City Fiesta is held in honour of St. Paul the Apostle, the City's patron, has been a traditional doing of the City Government of Vigan and the bigueños every January 25, every year. Locals and tourists gather to experience and see the street dancing, carnivals, food fairs, and arts and crafts, adding to the attraction of this UNESCO World Heritage City.
The usual way of celebrating the fiesta has change due to the pandemic, but the essence and the pure message of the festival still remains the same.

As a Bigueno, I believe that it is traditions and cultures like these that keep the fiesta spirit alive. Even in these difficult circumstances, we must remember to mark this milestone in tiny ways. And the spirit of the fiesta lives on in our warm hearts, not only those of Biguenos, but of Ilocandia as a whole!
